Common questions

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

On the App Store, manage or cancel any time from Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device; cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues to the end of the paid period. For subscriptions started on the web, open Settings → Billing in the app. If anything looks wrong, email hi@selfassay.comand we’ll sort it out.

How do I restore a purchase?

On iOS, open the upgrade screen and tap Restore Purchaseswhile signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. If your Pro features don’t appear after restoring, contact us and we’ll reconcile your account.

How do I export or delete my data?

You own your Vault. From Settings you can export your data and permanently delete your account and its contents at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how data is stored, processed, and deleted.

I forgot my password.

Use the “Forgot password” link on the sign-in screen to receive a reset email. If it doesn’t arrive, check spam or email hi@selfassay.com.

Is SelfAssay medical advice?

No. SelfAssay is a personal-research and decision-support tool, not a medical service, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health and before making changes. See our Terms of Service.

How is my data handled with AI features?

Features like the assistant and lab decoding send the specific request and the minimum necessary context to our AI processors (Google and OpenRouter) to generate your result; we don’t let them use your content to train their models. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
